Please resume to your normal life
Oscar season is over and I’ve watched a lot of movies. Here is my ballot, which has been on my person since the nominees were announced. I’ve watched everything highlighted in orange. This weekend alone I saw Half Nelson, The Black Dahlia, Letters From Iwo Jima, and Marie Antoinette.
The Departed won for best picture — well deserved if you ask me. If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend it. Of all the movies on the ballot, I think my favorite is Little Miss Sunshine. How about your’s?
My husband is happy that we can get some “normal” movies in our Netflix queue now. I’m not sure if these are normal, but this is what’s at the top: For Your Consideration, A Good Year (which I’m sure will not be as good as the book), The Shaggy Dog (the original), and Hollywoodland.

how on earth did you have time to watch these movies this weekend? i still haven’t seen a single one, a first for me. we plan on renting the departed as soon as we have a free weekend.
I don’t think I saw any of the movies. They are all my netflix waiting for me.
I just saw Little Miss Sunshine and I really enjoyed it. I love this blog..I cant wait to come back to read more..What a neat post!
I got 9 correct on my ballot. Mine looked a lot like yours by the end of the night; however, I had to guess a lot this year as we haven’t seen as many as we usually do! I did like Little Miss Sunshine!
I was pretty happy with most of the wins. But since I found out how they even get nominated I really do not put as much merrit into the wins.
I need to do this next year.
I thought it was a good show.
