Come One Come All! Step Right Up to see the Oreck XL21 Vacuum Cleaner
This morning Zoe (6-1/2 yrs old) was watching Kenny The Shark when a commercial for the Oreck XL21 Vacuum came on. She watched the commercial in it’s entirety, then rewound it so that I could watch it …. because she thinks that I might like this handy dandy vacuum cleaner. And, just like any good salesperson would, she pointed out all the features to me as the commercial rolled. Look at that suction! And it’s so lightweight that you can carry it up and down the stairs without a problem!
I don’t know what is more disturbing: that my daughter called me over during a cartoon to watch a vacuum cleaner commercial, or that she knows how much I adore vacuuming (and has accepted it).

I think it signals to you that it is time for you to teach her how to vacuum. Seriously.
My mom taught me when I was around 4 or 5, because I dared to express interest in “how fun” the vacuuming looked.
Tell her the Dyson is nicer, though…
