    I’m a 40-something gal from the Midwest who likes to pretend that I’m a 20-something gal living the life of luxury in the Carribbean…… or maybe Hawaii …. heck I’d even settle for Florida.

    1. I’m training for the Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon.
    2. Like my brother, I also enjoy a clean kitchen.
    3. I don’t feel 40.
    4. My favorite place to be is Fish Creek.
    5. A close second is Martha’s Vineyard.
    6. I will always choose chocolate chip ice cream.
    7. As much I’d like to, I just don’t understand the fascination with red velvet cake.
    8. Suddenly, I became a Brewers fanatic.
    9. I am allergic to grass, onions, raspberries and shrimp.
    10. I’d love to be a docent at the Milwaukee Art Museum.

    The long version about me:

    I’ve been married for 13 years, have a nine year old daughter, one dog, three cats, and a big fat mortgage. I live in the suburbs, work in the family tool and die business, have my bachelors degree in criminal justice, and am *this close* to finishing master’s degree in business administration.

    If all else fails I’m going to get my yoga certification and live out the rest of my life wearing yoga pants.

    I love going to the movies, reading a good book, taking long bike rides, yoga, and running. I enjoy Sunday mornings because I can read the newspaper in my pj’s and drink my coffee. I’m addicted to tennis and watch all the tennis matches, especially the four grand slams.

    By the end of the 2010 baseball season I will understand baseball stats. I swear.

    I could live on grilled cheese sandwiches, caesar salads (hold the caesar dressing please), cheese pizza with black olives, yogurt, chocolate chip ice cream, and red wine. Oh and water. I drink a lot of water.

    I have the uncanny ability to break glasses and cups. I drank out of Mason jars (from Classico spaghetti sauce) for 10 years, and recently graduated to using Tupperware.
