• Can’t talk! The world is depending on me!

    My husband’s birthday is next week. He’s expressed the desire to have a blue-ray DVD player — specifically the Playstation 3 kind. Today we visited Best Buy and he got to pick one out. I almost fell over at the price once they added the extra wireless shock controller, HDMI cable, and a total-guy-shoot-em-up-game. Video gaming is NOT cheap. But he’s happy.

    AND I convinced him that his birthday present needed to roll over into his Christmas present too. That’s one person crossed off my shopping list.

    Anyhow, I had to go pick out wine for the holiday wine extravaganza for wine club tonight and he was so in love with me, and a little drunk from the PS3 that he said, “you can go for drinks at Balzac if you want”.

    Well, okay. IF YOU INSIST.

    So Freckles and I picked out a full case of wine and then proceeded over to Balzac for a drink. Or two.

    And then I called my husband to let him know where I was and my ETA. He said: “CAN’T TALK! THE WORLD IS DEPENDING ON ME! G’BYE!”

    Um, yeah.
