I.Am.Finally.Packed.

I can’t believe that I’m all packed for Denver. I never thought it would be done! Thankfully I got Zoe all packed last night so that today I just had to tie up all the loose ends and then pack my suitcase.

We’ve got lots of DVD’s to keep us entertained in the car: Up, 17 Again, Monsters Vs. Aliens, The Goods (that’s not for the kid), some Scooby Doo movie, and some Suite Life on Deck movie. For audio books we have (all kids books):  Sammy Keyes and the Art of Deception, Olivia Kidney and the Exit Academy, The Thief Lord, Nate The Great Collected Stories, and The Best Christmas Pagent Ever. The kid has loads of Nintendo DS games to play. She’s also got a backpack full of activity books. I’ve got my iPhone all ready to go with lots of podcasts. I’ve got two books to read, and three magazines. The iPods are all charged. And Heidi — the GPS — is ready to get us to where we are going.

Now all we have to do it get up at 5 a.m. and pack the car.

Me and 5 a.m. never cross paths.
