I’ve totally broke our stupid screen door and I’m not very happy about it. Hardware Hank from the hardware store told me it was a piece of cake to take the screen door off the tracks so that I could bring it for screen repair. He was wrong. The door is totally jammed, kinda off it’s track, and the screen is still broken (however it does sport a lovely 12″x12″ patch made out of duct tape).
What to do? What to do?

Was the screen door hard to open before you walked into it ?
It may need more than just the screen cloth replaced. If one or more of the the corners is broken it will jam quite nicely in the frame.
Try to get it off by grabbing it half way up the frame on both sides. Lift it up and pull towards you. You may have to make the frame bend or bow towards you a little to get it to snap out of the frame.
Dont pull too hard or sharply or the frame might bend.
You can also help it out by levering the bottom of the door off track at one corner with a flat blade screwdriver
