Why Are Your Boots Still On?
I’ve become one of those people. You know the kind, the Leave Your Shoes At The Door Kind.
I can’t believe it myself, but as I’ve mentioned before, the state of my brand new floors is driving me crazy! They look great right after I’ve cleaned them. But then someone goes and walks across them with their boots on and I’m having the urge to scream: “What were you thinking?!?!”
Well let’s be honest. Not only to I have the urge, I indulge in it.
So I’ve made the No Shoes In The House Rule. It seems simple enough. It seems like an easy rule to follow. You come inside, you take your shoes off. However the people in my house are having a difficult time with this rule and I find myself saying: “Why are your boots still on?????”
People. There’s a rule. Follow it. Or I’m putting you in charge of the floors.
